Thank you for your letter regarding the “Review of Cytotoxic Chemotherapy to Cairns Base Hospitalâ€.
We are pleased to hear that there are improvements proposed for the system and we accept the recommendations. In fact, Dr Tony Noun, Group Managing Director of Riverina Cancer Care in Wagga Wagga informed us that they relied on being supplied from Sydney and he doubted that the in-house chemotherapy production facility would be viable.
